Introducing the L’Étape Italy 2026 Cycle-touring Rides: riding at your own pace, immersed in the magic of the Tour de France

Cuneo, 25 February 2026 – L’Étape Italy by Tour de France is not just about competition: the cycle-touring format demonstrates how sport can be accessible to all, with routes designed for those who wish to enjoy cycling in a relaxed manner, immersed in the landscape and local culture.

An experience designed for everyone, from the most experienced cyclists to those who have only recently taken up cycling, right through to e-bike enthusiasts, with the aim of combining sport, tourism and sociability.

The routes are marked and signposted just like a Tour de France stage, using signage developed in France and now applied in Italy, to guarantee the most authentic experience possible. Along the course, participants will find references to historic Tour stages with banners and installations that recreate a unique atmosphere.

The beating heart of the event is the L’Étape Village, dominated by the unmistakable combination of yellow and black . Inside the village you will find the Tour de France Museum, showcasing the history of the race and special memorabilia from France or exclusive collections, and the official Tour de France merchandise.
